Yes a total loss of libido is quite normal after having a baby: My ex went through the very same for 18 months after having our boy; and I have heard same from several of my female friends who have had children!! So don't panic: your not abnormal or alone in feeling this way...
Hopefully you will have an understanding, supportive partner who will see you through this, and put no pressure on you.
If you are concerned about this, or any other issues surrounding this, you might want to talk to your GP or health visitor... Obviously I don't know the cause of your situation i.e. stress, depression, tiredness etc, but it maybe worth discussing it with your partner and the above should it persist or you get concerned.
God bless.

Totally normal honey, your probably running round like a nutter looking after your 3 year old doing all the housework cooking meals aswell as shopping and any other chores that need doing. My son is 16 and ive taken on extra hours at work gosh i so dont want sex, im that tired after a 12 hour shift i climb past my hubby into bed and snooze straight away. Im far too tired too even think about sex. Dont worry babe it will get better, your not abnormal. x

Yes, due to fatigue it's very easy to go off sex, plus if your child is very hyper the thought of possibly producing another one is enough to deter you from ever doing it again. I speak from experience!!
In time your sex drive will return and you'll be back to normal, I now have three beautiful kids and a healthy sex life, well.... it'd be healthy if I had a partner!! LOL

That can be normal after having a child... Because of the trauma of birth and because of the way a child really changes your life...
If you are no longer interested, but you are married, might I suggest to your husband that you have an open marriage, so he can get some without having to run around behind your back...

Hun. you have other priorities in your life and are probably putting all your energies into looking after your son...although motherhood is truly wonderful, it is important you look after yourself also...make sure you have enough rest, schedule some time to pamper yourself...firstly you are a woman, a person in your own right...don't lose sight of that..and then you are wife and mother...all three require nurturing and looking after in order to give their full potential...I wish you every happinesss and fulfillment in your life!

no it is not nromal, in fact, in can be a mild form of depression. get it checked out. believe it or not sex is very important in a healthy relationship. without it there is no passion, no love, no happiness.

You need to discuss further with you G.P. you maybe anaemic,or have some depression....or you maybe tired & emotional....talk it over with someone you trust...if you have a partner talk to them...I hope you get it sorted....but not to worry...we all go thro phases like this...peeks & troughs....highs & lows....
