This question is an interesting one. I guess the real answer lies in wether your looking for a serious answer or a humorous one. To be realistic, First you would HAVE to bring a Magnifying glass (reusable firestarter ) Second, you would HAVE to bring a Survival Knife ( it has a fillet blade on one side and is serrated on the other) you can hunt, fish, build shelter, and protect yourself with this. The last one is a toss up. Some would say a book, or a tarp or water jug, (i would recomend a Firstaid kit)

The items I would have on me if I was stranded on an island are:
Purse
Cell Phone
Car Keys
Only my purse would be useful; for I carry alot of things in it (first aid kit, medicine, swiss army knife...)

do they make "how to survive on a deserted island for dummies" book? if so i would take that.
Lots of water
and a working boat with enough fuel to get home and complete with lots of food etc.

A deed of land ownership form to give to myt lawyer so I could sell that island later or turn it into my own resort.

Assuming food and water are found on the island........ satellite phone, a knife, and something to read (Heinlein, Rand, Orwell, etc...... OH OH, a compendium of them all)
