Unless you have a contract or believe that you are being discriminated against because of an actionable legal situation (race, religion, gender, age, qualifying disability and maybe a few others) in the U.S. you have little or no recourse.
Hey, they are the employer. They pay you to do what they want. If, for whatever reason, they don't want to pay you anymore, then they can quit paying and fire you. Any reason. No reason.
Of course, your rights are similar. Unless you have a contract that says otherwise, you can quit anytime you want for any reason or no reason.

Take it as a learning tool. Some of the most qualified people get fired for some of the dumbest things. It could be a blessing in disguise.

Not much legally. But in the meantime, you can file for unemployment benefits through your state. If they contest it, they'll have to say why you were fired; if it was for gross misconduct, you can appeal it if you honestly didn't do anything wrong/contrary to rules & regulations...(ie you were never warned for your actions, never tardy, excessive absences, nver did anything illegal, etc.). If you were just found incompetant for the job, you will be awarded benefits.

You have no legal grounds. Companies can hire you and fire you at their discresion. There is no guarantee of training unless it is in writing. Take it as a learning experience and move on.

without signed settlement or a union or residing in Montana, you reside in an at-will state interior the US. this suggests you will be fired for any reason alongside without reason. You have been justly fired and you haven't any longer any recourse against the agency.
