I actually really like WoW. It is a really well put together game with literally hundreds of hours of game play. It allows for fun interaction with people all over the nation and world. It is fun for both casual and hardcore gamers. You have to work together with others to reach a common goal, which can be challenging but fun at the same time.
But with any online game or online community or even the real world, there are rude and inconsiderate people.
It is also a very time consuming game if you are trying to take advantage of everything it has to offer. Guilds often spend 20 hours a week to down end game raid bosses in a 40-man raid, and this isn't counting time spent doing other things like farming materials or PVPing. But even with moderation and playing less then those more hardcore people, you can get a lot out of the game.

I am sick of it! LOL My son has been addicted to it since the first version.
2 yrs ago I built a system whith his game playing needs in mind. Probably a mistake b/c then there are the monthly fees and the boy doesn't leave the machine.
Hats off to the developers...they are raking in the money.

Love it:
-Open world
-Easy for newbies/hardcore players to get into
-Easy to navigate
-lots of skill choice
-Lots of PVP options
hate it:
-Too addictive
-The horde is the single greatest gathering of a**holes in the galaxy
-quests can be obscure

i like it, i made my own WOW server, allowing players to play for free.
