We will have left the earth to live on other planets long before it ends. The sun has around five billion years of fuel left, we think. I would be very surprised if we spend more than two thousand more years, at the very, very most (likely a lot less) on this planet before we have used all of the resources up, and have to relocate. By that point in time, our technology should be easily advanced enough to colonize other planets.

The world will never end.... it will evolve. Before we can live on another planet.... we must first do the right thing with the one that we have....

So if i have anything to do with the affairs of the world - and I do. I won't be allowing any spending of resorses to go to another planet .... lets clean and take care of Earth and each other. It is a beautiful world. With magnificent landscapes .... majestic animals, interesting cultures and there is lots of funto have.

It is very simple - like just 'Tidy up your room" "feed the animals" "water the plants" "See how your friends are going" And hug someone really close to you.

Earth is our home. we only need to take care of it.

And young person - WE WILL - I am making sure of that.
Peace love and intelligence.

The world will end when GOD is ready for it to end.

for you know very well that the day of the Lord (the end of world) will come like a thief in the night - Thessalonians 5:2.

There may not be another planet to live on.

The Earth will come to it's final end in about 5 billion years when the sun uses up the majority of its fuel. It's outer sphere will expand destroying the inner planets, and it will become a red giant.

If we put our differences aside, and began to put our engineering technology to work, we could probably be ready to colonize Mars in about 25-50 years.

We could put more effort and more technology after that, we could probably push out to the Jovian and Saturnian moons. in 75 years?

I would wager, we could eventually build solar sail technology to push us out to the next nearest star in about 100 years.

However, we have to settle our ancient differences, grow beyond our ancient fears, superstitions, and hatreds. That will be no easy task.

I'm really not sure we'll make it. There's a minority of very powerful and elite people in the world that control the world's resources. They're much more interested in making themselves uber-rich at the expense of the rest of humanity.

But, there's always hope. Maybe we'll get smart and throw the bums to the streets. :)

The disciples asked Jesus that question, and he gave a direct answer, the details which are recorded in the gospel of Matthew, chapter 24 of the Bible.
Very interesting!

mmm the sun is suppposed to blow up in a few billion years and why would we move to other planets while we have everything here? it would probably take like thousands or even hunderds of thousands of years to build a civilization there that is safe to live in.

The whole technology is impractical, each colony would use raw materials from earth, sucking Earth dry and eventually meaning no new colonies
