Tell them how much money you could make if you are actually good at football.
They'll come around when they realize you may be able to buy them a house someday.

I actually help coach high school football and it's suprising how many kids want to play football and their parents won't let them. There are a few things you need to stress to them, first of all assure them that the coaches know what they are doing and that they will not put you in a dangerous situation, second let them know how much safety gear there is and show them that it does work, also stress that its nothing like the pros so they don't have to worry near as much, finally after all of that is done let them know that you really love football and it's something your passoniate about and that your not just joining for friends.
Good Luck!!

They are probably worried that you will get hurt...... try to sit and talk with them.... Every morning we take a chance when we get out of bed, that we may be injured. Let them know how important that it is to you and that you will do what is necessary to be safe, Millions of students play every year, and it is a small percentage that get traumatically hurt. Ask the coach maybe he can show the examples of the schools safety procedures. Good luck

Cause your parents are smart and they know you should play real football (soccer). They know football is nothing more than commercials and individual fat players that later become cokeheads.
They want you to become a future soccer world star, idolized not only by americans but by the whole world..
i dont like american sports. i have tried, they all suck, i love my game, soccer

it depends on the reason. if they think you'll get hurt, show them all the equipment and padding. IF they don't have time to take u to practice, tell them how one of your friends can drive you (check with the friend first). Then put on the puppy face and ask nicely. don't be a brat about it

Well, it all depends on the reasoning for them not letting you play. If its something reasonable, t hen they aren't being stupid. If its something outragous, t here has to be a logical explanation.
THink about it.

Your parents knows best! There is some reason why they are telling you no. Just accept
what they are telling you maybe they have bad vibes about it or maybe they are expecting something greater for you!
