some canned foods for sure. people always have the tendency's to stay an extra day and the foods in the ice chest become appalling by the second day because the ice runs out. eating becomes a disaster. forget meats. there isn't many choices of foods on a camping trip because refrigeration is not an option. you can put your drinks in the river but meats attract predators including meat bees. spam is good but that is as bad as hot dogs.
canned fruits, green beans, corn, tamales, tuna, bread, beans, soups. top Ramon, cup o soups are the best soups for camping-you just add boiling water. most canned foods are already cooked. it isn't always necessary to heat them. as for any special foods, its limited in camping.
