God is all powerful in everything but the devil promotes evil?But humans have free will and all bad situations are the choices poeple make.

Because all of us, remember that there is a God somewhere, when we are in deep ****, but when we are happy we don't think about praying and appreciating God for giving us the chance to be happy always, because we are busy on celebrating and making more things to make us happy continuously! This is human kind methodology and till we do behave like this devil will rule with our lives!
It's not only the Americans that do that, people world wide act like this, everywhere is the same! America is not the only country in the planet, to take it as the only example!!!

That is because many people think God is someone you put in your hip pocket and just pull Him out when they are going through a trial. Most people don't realize that God expects His people to have a daily personal relationship with Him.
Many people don't even realize that Satan is a real spirit being and responsible for the evil influence in the world and our lives. The Bible says that Satan is deceitful and the author of confusion. He makes what is right seem wrong and wrong seem right. Satan can also cause "good" things to happen for and to you to trap you into thinking he is good. He wants to keep you from God and will use any means to deceive you. He can't do this if you maintain a daily personal relationship with God. God will keep him from deceiving His children.

I think it's the other way around - our "stars" (athletes, etc) give praise to god when they win, as do actors when they win an award. And as Flip Wilson (as Geraldine I believe) so famously said "The DEVIL made me do it!!!"
It's human nature to deny responsibility, thus god & the devil become scapegoats for things we do, both good & bad.
And since these are only words to some, they also manage to offend those that are believers.

Another really good question.
When we say stuff like "oh my god" we mean that god could have never conjured something up like this or something like that
or something in that genre.
When people mean "god has abandoned us" it means that god has stopped caring. Because we do not refer to the "devil" ion this sense we make it look like hes in a state of nirvana but we don't refer to him because we don't think of it at the time and that the devil is only the keeper of hell he has no real affect on the world

According to Genesis, God created us. In each of us, there is a "knowing" that God is our creator. No one can figure this out, it is just so. That is the way God created us. When we are hurting or in danger or unable to help ourselves, we all call upon GOD automatically. HE will never leave us nor forsake us. This is not to say we will not have trials, because they will surely come. But, HE will be with us through these trials if we have faith. Read the Bible, it tells of HIS love for us. Because they are calling out for help or His mercy - it is instinctive - but then they feel dumb because they don't want to believe or don't want to be let down so they credit the devil instead....because the devil in our culture seems more fun, cool and mysterious.... sadly enough

I plead for mercy for my God to rescue me when I am close to a meltdown. I have never been let down by God and the day I give Lucifer glory is the day I should be shot down dead in my trracks. It wil never happen, though. My God is a triune God as he receives my praise and requests.
