How can you determine the difference between the two? Is there a difference?

a friend is someones face you can see, even in the dark, and an associate, is someone who would bail you out of jail.....a friend would be sitting next to you saying,man we screwed up.

That real simple a True friend is someone you can trust with your life, someone who will support you no matter what...Someone who you can tell and talk to about anything and you don't have to worry about it getting all over town...Someone you can leave in your house and leave yourself with your friend in the house while you are out and knowing that your things in your place will still be there when you return...An associate is someone you know, for example the store clerk...Someone who you cannot do any of the above things I just talked about...This is only a small part of the differences between the both...

sit back and watch em an associate is like a spasm bouncing all over the place with every value and is not someone you would choose to hang out with

a friend will never ask you to compromise yourself and will never go behind your back

if your looking for advice stay far away from the loud and obnoxious

ok, if you know a person really well, and dont tell them to do any of your work, then that is a friend. an associate is someone you boss around, not very friendly, huh

A friend will help you move a body.

A FRIEND IS SOMEONE YOU CAN COUNT ON. SOMEONE WHO IS THERE WHEN YOU NEED THEM AND YOUR THERE WHEN THEY NEED YOU. AN ASSOCIATE IS JUST SOMEBODY YOU KNOW AND MAYBE HANG OUT WITH SOMETIMES. YOU HAVE NO REAL TIES WITH AN ASSOCIATE

Easy,a friend will hold you up,and is always there without fail. An associate wants you to hold him up,AND IS NEVER THERE, WITHOUT FAIL
