I like this guy on my swim team named Nathan who is 2 years older than me which makes him sixteen. I was waiting for my mom to come pick me up after practice one day and it was getting pretty late (9:00 PM). (I started waiting at 8:30.) Nathan offered to give me a ride and I told him that it was okay cause my mom was probably on her way already. And then he asked if I wanted to wait in his car until my mom came. I know him pretty well and he's a really nice guy who's nice to pretty much everyone. I told him it was okay and that he could leave since my coach was still there. He waited with me until my mom came and I left. Do you think he likes me? He usually says hi to me when he sees me and I'll say hi back. But if he doesn't talk to me, I won't talk to him. I really like him and I don't think he knows that cause I don't show it at all. Our practice starts and ends at the same time but we're in different groups (since he's older), and he's pretty much nice to everyone in his group.

Not that he's not nice to other people, just that he only talks to me and hangs out with me out of my entire group of other 14 year olds.

I spend alot of time with him at meets and stuff but never outside our lives of swimming. But I know that I really like him. If he was more my age, I'd definitely ask him to go see a movie or something. But the fact that he is two years older and he can drive, while I can't makes me nervous.

Give it some time sweetheart. You will know in time if he likes you or not. I think it was very sweet of him to offer to wait with you...but please don't catch a ride from someone unless your mom ok's it. You don't know him THAT well, right?...Just be careful. If he really does like you, he will make an effort to catch you after practice again..and again..

I'd say there's definitely a GREAT chance that he likes you....
You should "test the water" and talk to him a little more, flirt and see how he responds.
Just be careful, even tho he's only 2 years older, that 2 years makes a world of difference when it comes to experience.

I think he does like you, asking you to wait in his car and waiting with you until your mom came is a dead give away. Be careful though the waiting in his car thing makes me a bit suspicious about his motives, I would step lightly on this issue but he definatley likes you.

Yeah from what you say he fancies you.
You sound very sensible, so to check him out arrange to meet him in a neutral setting with a friend ie movies/bowling whatever.
Get to know him and see if he is interested in what you do. The acid test is to invite him around to see your folks then ask their opinion ( I know this is not always possible).

I dont think you should get your hopes up until he confirms it. It seems to me that hesa gentle men but only likes you as a friend, thats not enough thats he likes you so, time will tell. If he only talks to you out of all the 14yr old, he probbaly thinks your the most matture out of all of them..who knows.

get and older guy usually guys grow much slow than girls so its like he is 13 now try to get a guy in his 19s or older and you will have a real love relationship/.

Maybe he thinks your a really cool sweet girl. Or maybe he likes you. There really is no telling if you only say hi to each other.

I thik that it may sound like he;s interested. I would just take it easy and play it cool. What does your mom think about it?? I would just suck it up and try to talk to him. Maby you will discover that you don't like him afterall. Or maby he will discover how much he likes you.....you'll never know, just talk to him

uhh yes it seems like he likes you but make sure u remember that u shouldnt get like too clingy cuz then a start of a new great friendship can be ruined

i think he likes you, he sounds so sweet, why don't you say hi to him first sometimes, strike up a conversation with him more often, so that he knows you like him...cause he just might think you don't like him and he may start looking somewhre else.. good luck :)
