Dante Culpepper has been inconsistant and now that he has left the VIkings...I really dont see any future in this ball club....The amount of tickets sold has gone down in the past 2 years. I am thinking this may be because of the realease of star Reciever Randy Moss....If the Vikings could get a good and consistant QB they would be a way better team.

As a die hard Chicago Bears fan, it would be easy to come down on the Vikings and smile about it. But we've been through our own highs and lows. Ride it out, every team goes through down times, and years when they just have to rebuild. I live near Green Bay and hear about the Chicago Bears "sucking" all the time. It gets old. For Chicago, we have a strike against us in that the owners (McCaskey's) have no business owning a football team. Doesn't matter how your team does - what matters is that you are loyal to them. I hate fair weather fans. Good luck this year.

I think it's that whole "Triangle of Authority" thing. Seriously, they underinvested in the team and the coaching. The recent Vikings are the team that Dennis Green built. Then Green left and the team just milked what was left. Now, new coach, new owner (I have my doubts about him), no Daunte, no Randy. I think you're in for a tough season or three.

Vikings were Scandinavian warriors. I wish one was standing in front of you so you could get in his face and yell "you suck!"

Currently, they are the team with all the big off-season pickups. Last season they had a winning record, and any club with 4 superbowl appearances is ok in my book. But they do make the Pack look better.

because they play indoors. Name me a dome team that has been to and won the big dance?? As a matter of fact, I'm sure you'll find that most teams that play in domes aren't really that good with the exception of indianapolis that last few years....but when you have to go outside bad things happen.

Because of poor ownership in the past and very poor control on players behavior. Let's give the Zygi regime a few year to turn it around.
