You may want to just do a basic search for money management also, like on Yahoo or google, rather than paying money for info you could probably learn for free :o)

A practical class for personal money management you will not find anywhere, college classes are aimed at corporate , the same principles are used, but identifying them and applying them at personal level might prove a challege if you have no back ground in that area.

The best place to start is to check with high schools, some have a money management course ( very few , you might get lucy ).Some christian churches offer personal money management programs.

Take a LOGICS class that will help you in organizing and structuring information and thoughts, that should take care of the prioritizing issue.

Then you culd buy a software programm QUIKEN or Microsoft Money , those are very ilustrative and will function as your personal accountant, definetely it will help you.

There may be some classes in your area. Goto http://www.skillpath.com and search their classes and class locations. I have been to a couple of these on various topics. The classes are smaller, but are first rate. The materials are usually great, and they offer additional books and learning materials at the class itself.

Good luck.

Check with your local community college. I was given a Financial Responsibility course in High School (check writing, credit card savvy, budgeting, etc.)

If nothing else, talk to a friend who is responsible and won't judge or make fun of you.
