I am a sophomore in college and I already work during the week at a daycare. I need to get a little more cash and would like to work somewhere on the weekends. Does anyone have any suggestions? Do restaurants hire college students just for the weekend? Thanks

I am sure they do! try a coffee shop. no one likes working on weekends so they would be glad to hire someone who wants to work them. Oh, target will hire you for even a day and most have a starbucks. you have to fill out the application as if you can work 15+ hours at least, but if you cant then just talk to a manager and they will only schedule you for what you can work.

I am not sure if this is something you are interested in but I do Passion Parties on the side. Think Tupperware but much more fun ;) I do around 4 parties a month, on the weekends. I make around $200-$500 per party (depending). I set my own hours and get to meet some of the most amazing women! My start up was only $100. Let me know if this is something you are interested in.

Restaurants do hire for weekends- it is sometimes hard to get employees to work weekends (they want to do fun stuff, too).
Also- try places like coffee shops and hotels.
If you are reliable and dependable, you will be a great employee.

There are places that hire those sign wavers for the weekends....at like 14.00 per hour. I know it's not the best work in the world, but for 14 an hour!
