i the type of person who doesn't like spending too much money on lingeries. i need to buy myself a new durable bra so i'm thinking of buying one from victoria secret. what color should i get? nude, white, or black?

the one i'm thinking to get is the convertible one and it only comes in nude, white, and black..too bad i can only afford to spurge on one since most of my money has went straight to college tuition :(

I would recommend purchasing a "nude" colored bra. It can be worn under any color of shirt without showing through. You also mentioned "durable", which leads me to think you need something that will not only be a good color and fit, but also wash and wear well. If that's the case, forgo the sheer fabrics, lace, and thin straps for something more substantial. You should also wash your bras in cold water by hand or on the delicate cycle, and dry them by hanging instead of in the dryer. I highly recommend Lane Bryant's Cacique bras for full figured women. They have a variety of colors and styles perfect for any look, and those that I own hold up to multiple washings and wear. Also, Lane Bryant offers a lot of coupons and specials that allow BIG savings on their items. They recently had a "buy2 get 2 free" sale on bras, so I got 4 high-quality bras for less than the price of the cheaper ones from discount stores.

Nude, this way you can wear it under any color, even white, and if a strap shows, it won't be as obvious as a black or white one. My favorite all-occasions bra from VS is the Very Sexy Push Up with Padding in Warm Nude. It works with everything, even in cold weather ;)

Victoria's Secret is definitely the best place to get a good bra. I would go with nude, but if you can afford two get a black one too.

nude, as it doesn't show through pretty much any color. If you got white, it tends to have a glow through sheer shirts, so that wouldn't be too good. Black is so dark it will show through most colors of shirts, so nude would be the way to go.

Nude will go with almost any colour's top, black can look bad from a light colored shirt and or white also can be seen through white shirt itself, but nude goes with your body. i would prefer you buy nude.

if you are going to wear it often id get a white one so it doesnt shoe under your clothes..that always looks tacky. Maybe even the nude so it is hidden even better. if you are going for sexy and ur just going to wear the bra and some nice panties for your man go with the black o fcourse
