I'm guilty of this one too, but WHY? I don't need anther glass, yet me and my mates all have huge pint glass collections.

more than likely if you steal a pint glass their going to just let you go, because i am sure it is something people do when on vacation all the time, and if they cared they would have stopped you in the act, but you have to realize that the particular bar you where at buys those glasses for like 1 dollars max! Which is what you would get fined if anything where to happen. But i am pretty sure your straight lol.

Because some people are still drinking their beer while coming out of the pub.
They simply walk out with them and then dump them on the sidewalk to be crushed by cars, kids, drunk people or to be picked up by good people.
2 years ago every dawn when I walked to work, around 5 am, I would see pint glasses, and would collect them, takem with me, to clean them and keep them. I maneged to get 30 in total. I then gave to charity.

i go to the pub all the time and take the glass mostly because its closing time and i havnt finished so i drink it on the way home unless its an england glass then i just have to have it....its sad but cant be helped

It's coz there free! we work hard and long in this country of our's, and the rewards are not great!it's easy to nick a glass and it gives us a buzz! glasses break easy too, so we gotta have back up's! you and your mates carry on with them collections, i know i will!
