What I usually do on The 4th is get the family to gather we go to someone in the families house(each year we change who house we go over.) Or we go to our family Farm with 44 acres and bar-b-Que and pitch tents and stay the night. And pop fireworks all day. It's pretty fun. We have a ball. Having all the family to gather eating bar-b-Que. And enjoying fireworks. Cant wait till This years 4th of July. It's my favorite holiday!!!!

I usually take my kids to the parade in the morning so they can get candy then have a little family get together picnic at a relatives house then we go down to the beach to let the kids play before they have the big fireworks display. Ever year they spend more money for it this yr is over 19,000 mostly raised through donations. This year we also went to a festival with shipwreck displays, games, rope making and an inflatable slide and trampoline. All free so we spent allot of time waiting in line.

My neighborhood has a block party and we have a horseshoe tournament. There's actually a bracket and everything, and you win this funny looking trophy that my cousin made. Then we BBQ and walk down to the beach and join the thousands of people out there who are watching the fireworks which are shot off a barge out in the water. It's pretty fun.

I've been celebrating the birth of my son since 1971! Now, that he's grown with a family of his own, my husband and I usually spend it quietly: going to a movie late enough in the evening so that we can sit in the theater parking lot and watch the fireworks display happening at nearby Sam Houston Race Park.

Grill with my dad, watch 4th of July themed movies, and wonder why the heck my mom keeps sending Happy 4th cards to my in-laws. (they're BRITISH!)

I'm not American, I do the same things I do every other day, except for July 1st, thanksgiving, christmas and easter. July first is Canada's birthday, and we celebrate.

My family usually has a BBQ in the afternoon, play at the park, and that sort of stuff. We light fireworks and all that good stuff a typical US family would do.

Well this year I'm going to a Tail Gate party at my church, it's going to be fun, it's the young adults ministry (18-35) and we are going to be grilling and there will be fireworks later. It's a lot of fun.
