I don't think her being fired had anything to do with Rosie. I watch this show about 3X's a week and she's been getting more obnoxious every day. She thinks she's right about everything, she things she's an expert now on marriage after only 1 year, she thinks she's an expert on what women want, what black people are like, what's OK to watch at the movies, what you should and shouldn't eat now that she had the bypass surgery.....you name it she's an expert on the subject. I've never done this before but I wrote to the show to complain about her twice. I'm glad she's finally gone and I hope I had a tiny bit to do with it.

If her brain could have heard what her mouth was saying lately, it would have committed suicide. This is what happens when you lose so much weight, think you are all that and stop acting like a human being. I am GLAD she is going. That lady changed more than just her body and it starting showing on her darn statements and attitudes. She got what she deserved and she was going anyway. She is a lawyer, she has no problems. Use some of that attitude in COURT and she what happens.

lol! Yeah, it's true - she practically got replaced by Rosie. I just saw an entertainment report on Star. She says her contract was NOT renewed, so she felt as if she was fired. She made the announcement of her 'retirement' on the show, which she wasn't supposed to do. The network was supposed to announce it later in the week.

Don't you think you all are being just a tad bit harsh where Star is concerned? Sure, she is opinionated, but aren't we all? You all are certainly voicing your strong(negative) opinions right now. Instead of gossip, I wish people would find something nice to say about others or just keep their negative thoughts to themselves.
It is all hearsay and none of our business. Try to have a good day without bashing someone else, especially when they are down.
Just keep in mind how you would feel if it were you being bashed. It does not feel very good.

She got upset months ago when she found out Rosie was coming on. She didn't want her to (they've feuded) so she pushed the producers to hire someone else. They didn't want to, her contract was expiring; hence her quick departure. They made such a big deal over Meredith and Star just went away.

she was jealous that Rosie O'Donnell was coming to the view and the "Barbara Walters" got sick of Star's whinning and has not renewed her contract. Star was supposed to announce her departure tomorrow but she did it yesterday without telling anyone. She has been banned from THE VIEW.

Started with her weight loss, to that fiasco of a marriage, gay guy!!! See how fast she finds work. Thursday night on Larry King Live, more diarrhea of the mouth. Adios!!!!

I think it's possible that maggots ate the reasonable part of her brain. Not sure about it, but I think it's a good bet. The woman is a witch with a capital B. (and yes, I've met her and it was confirmed)

ABC didn't renew her contract. She announced her departure today but wasn't supposed to until tomorrow and leave in July.
