I would get things she will need on her wedding day. Like waterproof mascara (must have), those things that blot oil from your face without removing the makeup. Babywipes, clear deoderant, tissues. Clear nail polish (for the run in the hose, it's inevitable), maybe a sappy romantic poem, a piece of gum (to ease the stress). Stuff that's cheap but she will definetly need. Trust me she will thank you when she rips the panty hose and needs to stop it from running.

Bridal Shower Gift Basket Ideas

It's so hard to buy for someone else! I would recommend pamper-y, prettifying things that will suit people of every taste or skin color. Something she wouldn't necessarily buy for herself. You don't want a perfume her husband doesn't like, and a new bride is not very likely to wear pajamas ;)

Here are some things I'll be giving my cousin when she gets married this fall:

-Benefit Touch Me Then Try to Leave cream
-Tarte Cheek Stain in Blushing Bride (it's a great neutral that works on everyone, and the name is perfect!)
-Essie Mademoiselle and OPI I'm Not Really a Waitress Nail Polish (these are also great neutrals that work on all skin tones)
-Aquage Shine Spray
-Shu Uemura eyelash curler
-C.O. Bigelow My Favorite Lip balm in a tube...very hydrating and the BEST thing to wear while sleeping...she'll need it!
-DuWop Lip Venom

Hope this helps!

If this is a personal shower then things she uses every day would be greatly appreciated. Not just frillies like PJ's and perfume but what about shampoo & conditioners, deodarant, tooth paste, cotton balls, Q-Tips, travel sizes of lots of things, make-up, sunscreen, body and/or hand lotions, hair spray or gels, gift card for a hair cut, gift card for a manicure, gift card for a good book. And when it comes to wedding gifts, get a laundry basket and fill it with spices, starter sizes of all condiments, flour, sugar, all cleaning items, roll of paper towels, 4 pak of TP, napkins, kitchen utensils, towels and dish clothes, box of dishwaser soap and regular dish soap, and any other things you can think of to start a house hold with. Take a shower curtain and wrap it up and you will have the best gift of all. SHop the 99 cent store or Wal Mart, they seem to be the best for variety. Have fun!!!

Perfume and pjs are great. I'd throw in there some personal favorite recipes that you like to make. Maybe some of that fun soap that is shaped into rose petals. A cookbook, and some cookie cutters, with a set of hotpads. Add a bag of homemade cookies from you!

i'd say a cute pj set or nightie from victorias secret. perfume would also be nice. and maybe something on the cheesy side to use during married life. scented rose petals or those romantic dice that you role to do different things to your partner (and you can find ones that aren't always sexual).

You need a theme; I would suggest a basket with travel items for him and her. When you are a newly wed, you tend to travel a lot.

Pick a theme and stick with it.....anything from travel to bathroom to kitchen....what ever you do dont forget the KY and condoms, getting pregnant on your honeymoon stinks, and after all, they will be newlyweds and the mood could strike anytime, anywhere!!!!
