you'll have to work on this for a while . . .
-exercise a lot and build your lung capacity
-when you breathe, your stomach should expand, not your chest
-support your air
-practice, practice, practice
-work up to it. hold your note for 2 bars, then 3, then 4, etc

sometimes my voice cracks in voice lessons and it is because I didn't have enough support to do sing those notes. Remember the higher the notes are the more air you will need to reach them. I would take some voice lessons if you want to get better and get well trained guidance. Also sing from you stomach and support your singing. when it get high with the notes don't tighten you throat but try and keep it open it helps a lot and push the air through your stomach.Good luck

tighten your stomach when u play a note and hold your breath for lengths at a time. It will help you be able to hold it for longer-like practice it.

The breathe has to come from your diaphragm not your nose to be able to hold it that long. Don't inhale and hold it in your nose, focus on your stomach muscle, your diaphragm has to work for this baby girl. Good luck to ya'.

i play the flute and that takes a whole lot more air than a clarinet so hopefully i can help you out... take a larger breath and tighten your ambouchure... if nothing else works, count faster.

too late. You have to practice, practice, practice.
Try breathing from your diaphragm, not from your chest.
