Any advice from people who are actually in the business? I have a B.A. and a M.A. I could do something else, but I want to try this avenue.

Porn is a pretty diverse career choice. Do you want to get involved in porn film? Websites? Specific kink?
Many online sites will offer deals for you to work as a model or perform kink acts in the nude. Sex is not always involved. Hop online and simply do a search. If you are an attractive female who is interested, then there shouldn't be too much difficulty.
Some other posters have given you warnings. I don't feel that's my job. You are an adult and responsible for your own actions. I try not to be judgemental. Good luck in whatever you do.

Visit, San Fernado Valley, thats where most of them are located.
But rent some porn videos, and see the company that makes them and their address.
But be sure you want to do this first, it's not an easy way to make money, well it is, but hard on young women.

The first test you should take is this.
Invite 30 of your friends to stand around and watch you in action. If you can pass this performance test than just look in your local paper for recruitment of porno actors. The best companies to work for are located in the San Fernando Valley.

maybe you should check out some porn sites and contact them and tell them you want to get into the business... or you could rent videos like the guy before me said and get the address... i'm not really sure how you'd get into that business, but i'm sure that living in california already helps.
