I worked for a doctors office who fired me and they said that I did not abide by a HIPAA guideline. But they have a nurse working for them who says she has not a current nursing license in 10 years. Surely that is a big HIPAA violation also. She has also given my husband an injection. Can we bring any legal actions against them for the nurse not having a license?

Contact the S.C. board of nursing. I've been a C.N.A. for 10 years and have been told since I work for the public my C.N.A. license is public access. That also goes for Doctors and nurses. Good luck.
