This was from a childrens book of rymes from my childhood. It was lost to me and my sisters during childhood during the 70's. It had farm animals in overalls in an old candy store or at the fair grounds....

The reason you couldn't find it is because the word is "picalilly" or "piccalilli ." That's what my mother called sweet pickle relish. Perhaps most Chicagoans did.
