Help! I just uninstalled a bunch of things from my computer because i kepy getting a low free space error message. i was trying to watch a movie on my computer and i just discovered i uninstalled something that i needed to play sound! i already emptyed my trash ben is there any way to get it back or install something so i can have sound again?? i figured out i don't have a multimedia audio controler and i don't know how to get it back

Open the Device Manager (right click My Computer, Properties, Hardware, Device Manager) under the sound devices, locate your sound card and double click, on the driver tab click Roll Back Driver.

If that fails and you know the name of your sound card then you can search the Internet for the software and then install it.

Hopefully you still have your disc that came with the computer. Depending on OS (98, Me, XP), you can go to device manager and click on reinstall driver

Go to a system restore point at a date before you played IT manager.

a million) audio system on? two) plugged in... three) enter decided on? four) no longer muted? five) grasp quantity up? 6) wav quantity up? 7) speaker quantity up? If all that is precise - uninstall and re-set up your audio drivers from gadget supervisor.

If you have XP, have you tried going back to an earlier restore point?

It seems that you removed your Audio driver. now all you should do is that to reinstall it. insert your audio card driver CD and install it again.

I think you should call the computer guy and ask him. He can probably help.
