Not at all. My band does it all the time. I'm a female and sing songs such as "Brick House" and "Bad Mama Jama", which are both about commenting on another woman's looks and body. It actually sounds weirder to change the gender in the song. I've gotten a lot of great responses to the fact that I am a woman singing those songs. Hope that helps.

How does she feel about singing it? If she wants to change the lyrics, let her. If she doesn't, I don't see a problem. The idea of her singing about another girl would probably make a lot of the guys in the audience like it that much more.

Just change the appropriate words.

Jessica Simpson replaced the word 'she' in Robbie Williams' "Angels" with 'he'.
