I could summarize it in a few paragraphs, but it would *not* be accurate enough to protect you from pregnancy. You need to read a *book*, not a paragraph, and not a Web site. Otherwise, you will *not* be protected from pregnancy.

Natural family planning is about 96-98% effective as a method of birth control if you follow the rules--just because the people writing answers here haven't heard of it doesn't mean that it doesn't exist or that it doesn't work!! (It is *not* a way to prevent the transmission of HIV, though.) Please read _Taking Charge of Your Fertility_ by Toni Weschler for details. Then *follow* the rules. Yes, it really does work.

You should remember that a girl can get pregnant at ANY time of her period, and I think that if you dont want the responsibility of a child then contraception should be used. Whether its a condom, or taking the Pill (this combined method is the best).

Having said that, if you really want to have sex without protection, I could only figure that the most likely time would be immediately after her period has finished since ovulation for the next month hasnt occured yet.

But again I stress, PLEASE use contraception - are you ready to be a father?

I'm going to agree with everyone else here. It is NEVER ok to have unprotected sex if you want 100% chance of not becoming pregnant. Even condoms are only 99% effective. Birth control is a bit higher, though still not 100%. The only way to guarantee, 100%, that you will not get pregnant is to not have sex. Period. Condoms, birth control pills are great and will GREATLY reduce this chance, near zero if both are used. Though NEVER completely zero.

that is totally accessible that she will be able to get pregnant. era or no longer it wont remember. once the sperm reaches the egg. Youve were given complications (being pregnant) If she doesnt opt to finally end up with a new child right here boyfriend could positioned on a condom. or she will be able to take birth control. you could verify with your health practitioner about the birth control. Having sex unprotected = the way you get pregnant. Its user-friendly to understand. in case you dont get pregnant the first time you've unprotected sex. pricey GOD. dont imagine you cant get pregnant without donning something from right here on out.

There isn't a truly "safe" time. A woman can technically get pregnant any time she has sex, even on her period. The smartest and safest thing to do is to not have sex until you are ready for the possibility of a baby being made.

NEVER. If you are not wanting to get pregnant there is never a good time to not use protection. you need to use a condom. Not only for protection against pregnancy, but for protection against STDs also. Women's periods can be unpredictable so it can be almost impossilbe to pin-point a certain time.

Why people ask such stupid questions if they know that if they have sex without protections at any times an cause pregnancy. Even if you follow the period, is not reliable.

If you want guaranteed no pregnancy, don't have sex.

If you want to risk it, then your girlfriend is going to have to learn when she ovulates. You don't want to have sex anywhere around ovulation. Someone already posted about the calendar method. But again, this isn't 100% reliable either.

If you're not ready for the consequences that come with sex, you are not ready for sex.
