I think it's sort of a "requirement" that people who work at clothing stores like that must look really nice.

Abercrombie only hires good looking people. I don't think I've ever seen an overweight person work there. They also rarely hire minorities. If they do, they work in the back area. It might be just a rumor, but that's what I've heard.

My brother works at Hollister and my best friend works at Abercrombie and Fitch.
The deal is the more clothes you wear of that brand and the more hot you are, the more in the front you are working.
ie; ugly people are in the back so you don't see them. the hottest people you will see right away.

It actually is a requirement. Everyone who applies has to get their picture taken and it is sent to someone higher up who determines if they qualify. Since the people there wear their cloths, it is considered good advertisement if they look hot.

I'll bet you haven't seen the people who ONLY work in the offices, or shipping/receiving. The sales people & catalog people are SPECIALLY chosen to look good while wearing the company product.

Put it this way. Are you more likely ro buy a sweater that someone who is gorgeous tells you that you look nice in or someone who is ugly? They hire good looking people because they sale more.

They might be "hot" in your mind, in the WASP magazine kind of way, but that just goes to show you that they are discriminatory employers.
