The only problem I see in this situation, and it is a major problem, is that if Dick Cheney would die, then George W. Bush would become president. The United States Constitution states that a president can only serve two terms, so no, he can't run as Dick Cheney's Vice Presidential running mate.

But, hey, you forgot about George Herbert Walker Bush, George W.'s father---only served one term as president....

Yes, we have had a President that served 4 terms although he died in 4th term. This democrat, President Franklin D Roosevelt, is the reason for the new amendment passed in 1951. A president & vice president reversing jobs has never been done.

it could be extra ideal to ask why did Dick Cheney opt for George Bush to be President and himself vp. Given all that has surpassed off you'll be able to make an exceedingly compelling case that the jobs were quite in many circumstances miscast.

i have no idea, but do you think the american people would really be that stupid? i hope not i really do, we need a clean break from bush and blair on both sides of the atlantic so both our nations can begin to rebuild some of those broken bridges, not only in the middle east but in europe too, you know world hates us? they actually hate us and B n B are largely to blame for this. and anyway do you really want someone who can not tell the difference between a game bird and an eighty year old lawyer in charge of the worlds largest nucleur arsenal?

yes
He can't select George WALKER Bush as his Vice President because "W" has been elected President twice; the 22nd Amendment to the U.S. Consitution prohibits anyone from being elected President MORE than twice and the twenty-FIFTH Amendment prohibits anyone who's inelidible to be President to be VICE-President.
However, he CAN select GEORGE Bush, Mr. "Read my lips, 'no new taxes'".

No. First of all Cheney doesn't want to be president, and secondly, he has already run the country for 6 years.
