They go to McDonalds, eating big mac and french fries. Stuffing their face with one hand, holding onto their pen and pad in the other. Watching people put money in for the meters. The ticking tock going off in their heads.
Seconds before time is up. Faster then a speeding bullet, knocking ppl out of the way, cussing as they try to get by. Then too late, as they arrive only to have time renew again.
