Right or maybe he should mention that his family's money came from Occidental Petroleum and tobacco--two of the biggest polluters there are. I guess THAT would have been an inconvenient truth. But I'm sure he conveniently forgot to mention that he and his family are part of the problem. Y'know, if you believe, unlike many, many scientists, that a problem actually exists.

I am one of the most conservative, anti-liberal, anti-environmental extremist people on this site, but I am really starting to wonder if global warming might be a reality.

I saw his movie, "An inconvenient truth". He tried his best to not be boring (and he did a pretty good job, I must say). I've read a lot of arguments AGAINST global warming, but what if we have started a dangerous, artificially created warming trend?

What worries me is this: one change in the environment can have all sorts of unexpected consequences. I've heard it said that Mother Nature is like a gyroscope. No worries...just wait and she will get everything back in balance. But, what if our impact is just to much to handle?

When the glaciers melt, they aren't just melting at the edges. They are melting far, far inland and creating fissures hundreds of feet down. This just accelerates the breakup of the glaciers.

I tried to be objective seeing his movie. But I came out of the theatre more than a bit scared.

If global warming keeps Al Gore out of the political arena, then let him go on as long as he wants. At least he will be confined to one topic and not claim he invented the concept!!

I hope you agree.

Maybe the global warming problem would be solved if all of the Republicans shut up.

Not I, I think it's great that he's pushing for something that is affecting EVERYONE on the planet, not just certain demographics.

Politics aside, I think it's wonderful, he's getting the word out about this problem we are having, and believe me, we are.

He sets a good example for everyone else to become aware and act responsibly.

I think he should do something instead of talking to much, because alot of people have told us about global warming but we don't listen and what makes him think we will listen to him.

LOL. Hateful, but funny. Have a "Gore-eliminator" on each of my ears. Can't hear him.
