Don't go for the cute girl, hit on her friend. The friend will be flattered because no one pays atention to her, the cute girl will be upset because you picked someone other than her then she will try to get you to notice her.

Well, it worked back in the 70s

Jack: often the cuter the girl the lonelier she can be because so many admirers are afraid to approach. Suggest you try girls who are younger and will look up to you for being older and more experienced. This may help your confidence level. Then look for girls who talk a lot so you won't have to talk so much yourself. Just ask questions, open ones, which don't lead to a yes or no, to give them more chance to ramble on. The more they ramble, the more questions you can ask.

Make friends with a girl you like. Have discussions. Find things you both like to do and then invite her to do something with you. Maybe go hiking, see a great movie, play golf, go to a play. There are many ways to approach women. We are just as shy as you are many times. Be friendly and sincere. If you like the way she looks, tell her nicely. We love compliments.

I know it's hard, but you have to talk to cute girls. The best way? Start with "hi." and smile nice. Also, notice what she is interested in, and talk to her about that. See if you can approach her when she is alone, because I know it is intimidating to come up to a group of giggling girls who are going to start gossiping about you as soon as you walk away. Good luck!

Just be yourself. Explore your strengths and enhance them. If your looking for companionship you need to let your sensitive side show a little bit. A lot (not all) of girls like sensitive men. I don't mean break into tears everytime you see her. What I mean is that you need to show genuine interest in everything specially during conversations. But if you are unable to do that with a girl that means that she is not for you. Hope I made sense. Good Luck.

I think most girls like shy men. If they don't it's their loss because shy men are usually very insightful men.
Just choose a nice girl and ask her to a movie. Don't worry about what to do. Just go to the movie and have fun.
Good luck to you.

My advice is to not go looking for girls. Wait until she finds you or you see someone your really interested in. Don't just flat out ask her out either, get a conversation started and you can decide for yourself if you want to ask this person out and have time to build up the confidence to do it.

talk to the ugly ones first and gain some practice. then work your way up the ladder and talk to less and less ugly girls as time goes by.

Eventually you will work your way to talking, dating and being in a relationship with a cute girl all the while being able to talk to anybody.

If you want to overcome your shyness you have to work hard(its like playing a guitar). But if you want a tip just let people to whom you talking know your shy... That's the first step... The rest is up to you... And sorry for the ambiguous answer.

Get some confidence and ask a cute girl out. If she says no (or something worse), then you should have the confidence to think its her loss. And move on. . .
