Mow lawns for a lawn-care service. Many of them don't care if you're legal.

Cut grass 24 hours a day.....seriously, 2000 dollars is a LOT of money, especially when you can't work in a 'real' adult job. Millions of adults with real jobs won't even make that much in a couple of months. Set your sights a little lower, unless you plan to find a lot of work and devote a lot of time from your day to it, or unless you find someone who will just flat out give you money.

Older people who don't get around as well would love for you to come over and vacuum, dust, clean, etc. Also, ask around and get your parents to ask when people are going on vacation, and you can pet sit for them, maybe at your own house or just walk over and feed the animals a few times a day.

Condominium complexes with dumpsters might be willing to pay you a certain amount for you to keep the garbage around the dumpsters cleaned up every day. You might negotiate for an hourly rate for actual hours worked or weekly amount for making sure the messes are cleaned up in a timely manner every day. We have roughly 9 weeks of summer left. If you charged only $10 an hour and could put in 40 hours per week amongst all your clients, you could make $3,600. If you arranged to charge a weekly rate, you could estimate the time it would take for you to make sure the messes are cleaned up and negotiate your rate accordingly. You'd need to find a few complexes, as one or two probably wouldn't come near what you expect to make.

Good luck.

Mow and edge lawns on your own. 100 lawns during the summer at $20 apiece will get you the money. But..do a good job.

You can either babysit or tutor younger kids in a subject like English, math or science. Or you can mow lawns and do landscaping work.
