Good question. Not many. It takes a big responsibility to write with an inmate, in more then one way.
Some people do it because they find it exiting.

Only the sexually frustrated ones. I still have a pen pal that fell in love with me when I was 15. Now I'm 20 and she's been stalking me on MySpace. I gave her my number and she went psyco when I told her that I wouldn't go out with her. Its sad cuz I had to break her heart cuz I found out she's wierd as f**k.

Too many. They should not let inmates have privelages like that. They treat our inmates like kids they are babysitting for a while. We need to crack down!!!!!!

alot of people. A year is a loong time to get to know someone and get intimate with them, also depending how often u see that person
