well, every since the probably second week of last month, i've had uncontrollable gas that lasted everyday for about a month. june 11th, i started my period, which was normal every way. now i am noticing my breasts are tender; nipples are sore and tingling...that started this past monday morning. i've been really tired, but i would have bouts of insomnia in the middle of the night. i've been having to pee alot and i have an increased appitite. plus i have unusual cramping in the bottom of my stomach (lasted a couple of days) ,like period cramps, but its way too soon for that. there's a chance that i might be but i would think it happened this month...too soon to feel pregnant. also my cervix is still up high (from thursday). its now firm-but soft on the tip and the slit has closed. according to an ovulation calendar, i should be ovulting today. its hard to know cause my cycle is normally irregular. but my breasts changes have me thinking cause i never have sore breast. please help!!!

as for the breasts...it could be due to ovultation (during that time, hormone mimick pregnancy symptoms sometimes) or pms (same thing there), but its highly unusual for me. this is all confusing.

If you have irregular cycles, then an ovulation calendar is completely useless. (If you have *regular* cycles, they are pretty much useless, too.)
As for interpreting the signs... If your cervix is high, soft, and closed, it is indeterminate. High and soft would indicate fertility, but then it should be open, not closed. So you can probably ignore it entirely--either your checking is wrong, or your cervix doesn't act in typical ways (neither does mine).
Are you checking cervical fluid? I've never heard of a woman who checks cervical position and *not* the fluid, although many women check only the fluid.
If you are pregnant, I'd say that the bleeding you had *wasn't* a period, and you're a month farther along than you think. Mostly this is because it's too early this cycle to have signs of pregnancy. The *earliest* you could possibly have any physical changes as a result of a pregnancy is about 8-10 days after ovulation. And I'd say the gas is just a coincidence for the same reason. The other signs--breast tenderness, tiredness, frequent urination, cramping, changes in appetite, etc--are all things that you could have *after* your first missed period.
I would say take a pregnancy test tomorrow morning. You may have good news!!
Good luck!!

Honey All I can say is take a pregnancy test. I prefer EPT the error proof test. I tell you what it was 1 or 2 weeks before I was supposed to start my period and it told me that I was pregnant and I know have a beautiful 3 month old little girl. So if I can help you in any way just let me know and good luck sweetie.

Yes, even though you just had your period. Some women get their periods their first month pregnant. A lot of people think it is implantation bleeding that is mistaken. If I were you, I would take a pregnancy test now, and if it is negative, still take another one weekly until your period comes again or comes up positive. If neither of those things happen, see your dr--you may have a hormonal imbalance.

Take a freaking pregnancy test! They cost less than $20. If you cannot afford them, you sure cannot afford a child!
And yeah, since you are asking, you are having one.
