My Mercedes C240 shakes violently when stopped or travelling at very low speeds in heavy traffic. I've taken it to two Mercedes techs and none of them can find any problems in the engine. I'm at a loss and it seems no one can help. Any suggestions or ideas as to what the problem is?

COuld possibly be a bad TC Soleniod inside the transmission pan. When they go out it goes slowly worse and worse until when you stop the car dies, it acts like the automatic transmission is a manual and kills itself like a bad clutch.

My guess will be a vacuum leak. Pop the hood and examine for free hoses on the engine. EGR tubing free, or maybe brake vacuum booster hose free. OR, can be a gas filter out getting clogged up. even as's the perfect time that became replaced? Are you getting a examine Engine gentle coming near even as it takes position?
