A nice skirt (not a mini) and blouse would be best. You can wear dressy sandals or closed shoes. No flip-flops! Pick something that you might wear to church. You should look modest, not too trendy. Something with sleeves, not sleeveless and definitely no tank top! Keep jewelry simple, nothing big or noisy. If you have pierced ears, where studs. Keep your makeup low-key too. When you are being interviewed, check out the place to see how people dress, so you'll know the kind of clothes that you need if you get hired. It's summer, so a lot of people dress a bit more casually. Good luck. I hope you get the job!

When I interviewed for an admin assistant position a couple years ago, I wore black pants, round-toe black shoes with a chunky heel (actually, they were ankle boots, doesn't matter) and a royal blue button-down shirt. I did wear a black jacket also, but it wasn't a "suit" set. They loved it, I got the job, and they weren't impressed with the woman who interviewed after me and wore khakis, a T-shirt and cardigan sweater.

I would suggest black pants or a black skirt above all else, and of course the skirt shouldn't be too short! No spiky/pointy toe heels and if you wear a skirt, flesh-toned hose. For the top, anything conservatively cut (other than a cotton T-shirt) should be fine. Blue and green are the best colors, don't wear white (boring), red (too attention-getting) or purple.

Makeup should be tasteful, subdued, and in neutral colors, and hair should look clean and smooth in a conservative style (blown out is great.) Make sure nails look clean and fairly short, and use a clear polish. Carry a smallish, squarish purse, nothing big, bright or squishy. Stud earrings and a conservative necklace would look nice.

Good luck!

You should wear the most professional clothes you have - even if you interview somewhere where the actual employees dress more casually, you want to make a good impression, and people usually expect more professional attire from interviewees. If you have nice slacks or trousers, wear those. Don't wear anything too bright. If you have a button-up, collared shirt, wear that. If not, wear a nice shirt - not a T-shirt. Wear closed-toe shoes with a small-medium heel. Keep your jewelry simple. Good luck!

First of all, don't try to do anything fancy.
You can wear light shade saree (if you are an Indian),
otherwise, wear a light shade top( baby pink, white or other light shades complementing your skin and face glow),
the top should be plain, no checks and it's preferred if it's buttoned.
Secondly, if you are 5' 3" to 5' 6" tall then wear plated pants (trousers) of dark shade otherwise wear dark skirts (black, coffee colour or grey).
The footwear should be complementry, in dark shades and well polished.
No dark make up on face, bright lip gloss(pink) will do it good and most of all your tresses should be well trimmed.
The perfume you wear for the occasion should be pleasant.
Use less jewelry as much as you can. Watch out for your nails,
they should be clean and wear good paint on them. Actually I'm favouring lighter shades in dress code because the checks and dark shades creates an atmosphere where the board may find out that your your personality is dominating theirs. Also remember to wear a good and confident smile on your face. the reason of an interview is to find out wether the applicant is good for the atmosphere of work place. And if you couldn't answer some question, just apologise, don't try to tickle your mind, and mind your body language too.
When you etner the interview board room, greet them as a board rather than greeting them individually.
Hope, what I said will help you.
And Good Luck for your interview!

might as well go buy something now since you'll need them later on. but no need for a suit. woman can get away with "professional" clothes easier than men can. professional for men are shirt and tie or business suit. can't really get around that. if you have some, wear some nice dress pants and a blue shirt of some kind. not snug but you know, nice.

I don't know what you have to wear, but since you don't have a business suit, where a nice skirt (not mini) and blouse with a jacket, if you have one. Or, wear nice slacks and a blouse. The blouse preferably should be like a shirt style. Or a sweater set, instead of blouse.

Where a nice pair of black or gray dress slacks with a nice sweater and nice jewelry, make sure your hair is nice and fresh, and don't use a lot of gel. Don't wear flip flops for your shoes. Then iron your clothes and you will look as professional as anyone else.

Wear a pair of dress pants and a V-neck shirt, or nice quality fitted T shirt with heels.

Maybe black slacks and a white button up blouse. Solid colors always look very professional. Just don't wear anything that's low cut or short.

good luck on your interview! :)
