The fact that I didn't realize what morons some of my teachers were. (Not all mind you, some where very exceptional people).

In retrospect, some of these slugs were just there to occupy space and collect a paycheque. It's funny how kids sweat the small stuff....

I can't believe I was ever concerned about what a Teacher may grade me. I'm glad I never did homework, what a waste of time that would have been. Most of the crap we learn in school is completely irrelevant to us now. Unless you are going to further your education for the purpose of specific employment, what do you really need a diploma for?

I'd like to say that I'd have left school after I'd learn to read, write, and do some basic math. - But then, how would i have met so many girls my age? I mean, who wants to be one of those losers who hangs around a High School or University, yet doesn't attend?

And yet, everyday I encourage my child to do well in school. Kind of ironic.Truth be known, I'd love to tell him to do whatever he wants. Unfortunately, at his age he cannot make well informed decisions. So I guess he'll have to kill some time sitting at a desk and meeting girls. Is that so bad?

By the way, I did have a few GREAT Teachers, and they'd probably agree with my little rant here.
