We had a teacher actually give us this assignment in highschool.... I did mine in 1,190 licks... Some people got much less, and some people got much more... It actually depends on the amount of saliva you produce, the size of your tongue and whether or not you lick the whole pop each time....... Lame project.... But it made us think.... Plus it tasted good.

its different every time cuz some suckers have more or less tootsie roll in them. the one i did last night took 563 licks :)
