Guild wars. It's a huuuge MMORPG with a fairly good economy. When items are found, they are "randomly" assigned to players which is fair. It's mostly party based, and you can join a "guild" and communicate through voice, etc.
No monthly payments, but the game is around 40 bucks. Expansion is about 40 also.

I have a few.
If you have a fast computer, play knight online at www.knightonlineworld.com, they give you 3 FREE DAYS OF MEMBERSHIP, but after that you can still play but you dont get everything in the game, sadily.
If you like action and adventure, BUT you dont have a fast computer, play runescape, you can get a whole lot out of the game, without playing.
If you like puzzles and fun, play puzzle pirates, Im not sure what the link is, but i know that there is a link somwhere at www.miniclip.com.
If you dont like playing any of those games, go to www.kungfuchess.com/ tthey have some fun games.
If your out of options, the go to addictinggames.com, games.com, miniclip.com, or flashplayer.com
If you dont like any of those, go to a store, and buy a board game.

RAKION!!! It rules. Im not sure you could call it an rpg but its mmo and the graphics are amazing. HIGHLY ADDICTIVE. but for some reason i cant get into their site anymore. If some reads this can they tell me why? Also Dark ages is really fun.
