I can see your point about players who go for a 50-50 tackle, lie down till the Doc comes on, Then the stretcher and goes off and is up on his feet within seconds to get back on the field of play,
something needs to be done about this, but can you really be sure??
What must happen is that EVERY time this happens ALL time wasted must be added to the clock even if it means 8, 9, 10, 11 or 12 minutes is added on players and IMPORTANTLY Managers and Coaches will soon put an end too it.
NOW an all together PROBLEM is when,
A player deliberately tries to fool a Referee into having an opponent sent off for serious foul play,
This cannot be tolerated and FIFA should take action and suspend and or Fine these players.

You mean that a player would have to dive 3 times to get a yellow? If this would be the case, players would dive more because there would be less consequences. Now a player can get a yellow for the first dive.
It is annoying how some players do that but I guess it became part of the game ( as sad as that sounds) In my opinion, the refs have to keep on carding and maybe the players realize thatit is not worth it?

Too many red and yellow cards already without any other colour ones being introduced! XD
Players should be threatened that if they fake injury they will be whisked away from the match straight to an NHS Hospital and made to wait 12 hours just sitting in a corridor in A&E waiting for tests while other people sit around them bleeding to death.
That will clean the play up a bit, and also stop them all acting-up every time they break a finger nail! XD

Actually, the yellow card for diving is relatevily new. IT was issued before France 98. Before that, everyone kept diving. A yellow card is issued for that so it is the players responsibility to take care of this. FIFA is trying to make the game more fair. Yellow card was only issued during strong fauls, but know the sportmanship attitude has sometjhing to do with it. Now you can receive a yellow card because you dive or throw the ball away, or delay of game.

Yes, there should be an "orange card" (yellow and red make orange). An orange card would only be given for dives. Regardless of if its in the same game or not, every second orange, you would immediately leave the field of play, without a substitue, like receiving a second yellow or a red. However, instead of not being able to play in the next game, you wouldnt be able to start in the next game. A yellow and an orange in the same game equal a yellow. In tournament group play, if you got a yellow in one game, and an orange in the next, you wouldnt be able to play in the following game. So, for example, player "John Smith" receives two orange cards in a game. He is removed from the field, and cant start the next game. So, in one game: two yellows equals a red, a yellow and an orange equal a red, and two oranges equal an ejection and the bench at the start of the next game. In multiple games, two yellows means you cant play the next game, a yellow and an orange mean you cant play the next game, and two oranges means you are immediately ejected and cant start the next game.

The yellow card already covers this. The referee is supposed to issue a yellow card for "diving" attempts as it comes under the "unsporting behaviour" sanction. It is however very hard to differentiate, especially with world-class oscar winners, like the italien players, ha ha ha.

No, I think players who are diving or feigning injury should get a straight red card. That way, maybe they would stop doing it. I also think this should be reviewable with video evidence at any time, including after the match. I guarantee we would see the problem eliminated within weeks, but FIFA haven't got the balls to implement it!

I think a lot of the players just go away with faking their injuries and everything. It looks totally fake from some points of view, but the referees don't do anything about it.

No matter what colour or indeed how many cards are produced there are, today unfortunately, many footballers faking fouls - or perhaps making a big deal out of a minor infringement. Regrettably it is now part of our beautiful game.

You don't have to respect anyone you don't want to. The answer is simple, respect those who deserve your respect i.e. the players who don't constantly flop and fake injuries because, although many players have been known to play up an injury to draw a call, not every player does.
