After I saw Alice the first time I got back stage and got to kick it with his daughter and band mates. The guitarist wouldn't stop talking to my chest!! lol. Great times.

All of them... Here's why:
Alice Cooper was the "shock rocker" of the sixties, taking topics that ppl wouldn't usually dare nor have the balls to speak of and threw them in ppl's faces no matter the rep it gave him.-Schools out forever.
Marilyn Manson was our 1990's Alice Cooper with an agenda: to kill conformity through perverse/explicit imagery and intense lyrics. Never once saying to "worship satan", Manson was able to capture the attention OF ALL. Either you Hated Manson or you Loved him. From politics to everyday things that we went/go through, Manson struck a chord against misery and had plain fun with it while pissing a few religous and political figures along the way.
And then there was King Diamond. Ever since Mercyful Fate, K.D. had been a little more unique than his fellow Devil Hailing buddies around the Black Metal scene globally. His fierce, yet melodic vocals captured the attention of millions... Soothing yet cringing, he was to be one of the few founding fathers of church-burning, cattle-slaying, baby-napping(Just being sarcastic... Except for the church buring part, lol) Satanists that would survive the infamous black metal era where many died. And with that said, he still made his music, was recongnized by the Church of Satan as a member(By LaVey himself), left Merciful Fate and continued his rampage on christianity.

So to narrow my answer down(sorry I wrote so much, :/ ) You cannot really compare these three icons against eachother simply because they come from diffrent genres of music, diffrent eras, and messages.

Marilyn Manson. Even though he's no musical genius (then again, neither are King Diamond or Alice Cooper) he's much more artistic than the other two. And scarier as well.
Listen to the song "Mechanical Animal". It's the greatest song he ever wrote.

For the live show, I would say Alice Cooper.
For the vocal ability, King Diamond hands down.

Alice Cooper....his music has more styles/variety than Manson. And who can resist a man in a straight jacket and mascara?

Without Alice, these others wouldn't exist...he created the genre. What a genius.

marilyn manson, definitely
i don't like his music at all, but i think that (from what i have seen at least) he is a genuinely decent person. i watched bowling for columbine and he was interviewed in it, and he seemed like the most normal, nice, down-to-earth guy, even with his costumes and makeup and everything else on. i really respect him.
