He has them contained in a run by the Fence. The odor of poop effects our use of the back yard and we can't keep our bedroom window open nightly! The Town claims they are powerless to act, since there are no laws regarding this! Constructively speaking, I am looking for an answer to this problem that affects our quality of life! I don't want to cause harm to the animals because it's not their fault, who can come up with a clever idea that would want the owner to move his dogs closer to his house!

Whoever has the best answer to this complex problem will get the strongest reccomendation to win with Yahoo!!

Try putting moth balls out along the fence line...animals don't like them, and steer clear. Thats how we got the neighbors cats to stop crapping in our yard. They may not smell nice, but smell better than poo!

most towns have a dog limit to how many dogs they can own, also call the humane shelter and ask them what to do,if that dont work get a petition started in the neighborhood for the problem and go to city counsel meeting.they say the sqeeky wheel gets the oil, just keep trying.constantly call the mayor,etc..this cant be healthy for thr dogs or the people.

Just complain to the people. Or, everytime you find a piece of poop on your yard, get a shovel and fling it back over.

Dogs hate the smell of moth balls. Put some out. Or vinegar or WD40.

Have you talked to your neighbor about the odor and how it negatively impacts your quality of life?

If speaking to them doesn't work, you could sue them for emotional distress!
