Stop trying to please people. You can't, they will always want more and more until you are burned out. Just be polite, and treat people with the respect you want them to give you. being nice is sharing what you have, pleasing people is giving them what you have andnot getting anything back. And, by the way, an attitude is a good thing!

Being nice is an emotion coming from within you directed towards someone/something else. Pleasing people is an act in which you perceive to get inside someone else and and satisfy them. Hope that helps. May God Bless

Being nice to people with an attitude is not being nice. It always is taken as being on guard for a reason they do not understand. Don,t please people unless it pleases U Be your self and every thing will be OK.

Folks who don't trust in human kindness will only see the negative side of your action (even if there aren't any). If you're nice and want to please people, they'll perceive it as YOU not being genuine, or you sucking up. And that's the sad part.

Hatorade is such a bitter drink, I don't know why so many people like it.

Know what's in your heart to be true.

It sounds like you are trying too hard to be nice, just be yourself, the niceness will flow naturally. If you think you are trying to please people all the time, you probably are. Again just slow down.. Some people have the personality that leads them to try and please people, that is a good thing, just don't let it get out of control. You will make a great Hostess (party thrower).. Please just be yourself, people will be more drawn to the real you... don't try so hard.. GOOD LUCK!

Have you noticed people trying to pull their lips in order to smile, that scares you off instead of being nice.

Being nice should come up from the heart !

Two letters - N O.

you can be nice and still not fell the need to please every person out there. No - I just don't have time this week to bake cookies for the bake sale, maybe next time. or No - I don't think this the right relationship for me, or NO - mom, I love you but I just can't have you stay at my home for 3 months.

Nice, but without the disease to please.

well it sounds to me that the attitude is just part of who you are! If you know you are being nice then don't worry with anyone else.

If you are being nice just to please people, then you would have an attitude. You should be nice just to be nice without any thought of reward.

pleasing someone is not something you should do. pleasing someone could mean getting into trouble becuase someone told you too, being nice to someone would be respecting them but not doing something irresponsible, when being nice to someone, you can kindly turn down an inapropriet request from someone. so, being nice is respecting them, and pleasing someone is obeying their command.
