*i know its a movie.
*it wouldnt be too heavy/slow him down...he's superman.
*not only does it block his x-ray vision, lead also protects him from kryptonite
just curious what you think.

where exactly would you get a lead suit of armor? and if clark kent wore it, everyone would know he was superman. Plus it might slow him down alot.

Too hot. And if he did, where would the excitement of the story go? I mean the good guy has to have some flaw in order to make him seem more real. It's a story after all.

I don't think a lead suit would allow him to move and be as flexible as he is. Also I think lead has magnetic issue which could also pose a threat.

Would probably make it harder for him to fly and use his x-ray vision. Also, he wouldn't feel the warm touch when picking up Lana Lang or Lois Lane.

in the comic, the scientist that work with superman do create a suit for him to wear that protects him from kryptonite.
why doesnt he always wear it? b/c it doesnt show off all those fabulous muscles. :)

he does in the cartoon when he fights metallo :| other than that theres no need for it unless hes in space :| to avoid metoer rocks and alien viruses :| and no its not too haevy the man can lift trains buildings multiple cars so no its no too heavy lmao too heavy has to be the dumbest answer ever

Just because he couldn't see through lead, doesn't mean that it would protect him. Not only that, they never put that in the script.
