If you want somewhere hot and lots of people watching where you can stretch your dollar, you should really try Boracay! It's located in the Philippines and the sand is like powdered sugar!!!!! It's a fun island to go to!!!! There are lots of things to do and if you want beautiful sunsets and great beachside bars this is the place to be....locals speak English and the prices are not as bad as some places where you have to spend in dollars. Cheap, fun international cuisine, lots of fun people, good times, music and sun, sand and crystal clear blue waters!!!! If you have time, you can hop over to the island of Bohol and discover the nice beaches of Panglao island, then it's off to Camiguin island where you can spend the day on a sand bar, go to a hot spring, trek volcanos, then jump into a cold water spring after swimming through a tall waterfall!!!!! Google these places for images and you sure won't be disappointed!

I would like to suggest you go to Thailand. They have a hot sub-tropic climate, fantastic beaches and awesome pubs (Go-Go's). Thailand is an exotic land where the people are very friendly, the food is hot & spicy, the Temples and history is uncompairable. Your biggest expense is just getting there. My round trip ticket from the U.S. cost me around $950, but once there, everything is very inexpensive. The rate of exchange is $1 US = 40 baht. The shopping in Thailand is great. They have large malls and shopping centers and bazaars. Before you go there, do your homework on customs and traditions and what to expect. My wife is from Thailand and I plan to retire there. If you go you will make some great memories.

Go to an all inclusive resort in Mexico. I love the Riviera Maya resorts. They all have free mini-bars, free bars, free buffets, free sit-down dinning, free shows, free non-motorized water sports (snorkeling). Basically, you show up, lock your purse/wallet in the safe and roam around in Utopia. It ruined it for all my other vacations!
The beaches are empty and you can walk for miles without hitting another resort.
Possible (small possible) downfall is that you need to make reservations a day in advance to leave the resort so the gates can check you in and out. I enjoyed this since I only left the resort to go horseback ridding on white sand beaches. The horse back tour also arranged time to run the horses hard followed by riding the horses as they swam in the ocean. Very scary and exciting.

The best place I have ever been is Cuba varadero the beach was clean and white. The sea was like being in the bath warm, clear and still. My 7yr old son wrote at school "the most beautiful place on earth is Cuba". I would recommend it to anyone.
