Because society is sexist. Besides, women would probably put on a better show and that will make the men feel sad. Most men are like babies, they fear that women will do better than them so since men have more power they do not give women a chance to prove themselves sometimes. I agree they should have a Female FIFA World Cup, just to see the look on those sexist men out there! HA HA HA!

It's a commercial thing: men's football is by far the most popular sport in the world, attracting huge TV audiences and correspondingly high advertising and licensing rates.
Women's football, on the other hand, is a very minor sport in major footballing regions like South America and Europe. It's only in the U.S. that it has some following. It simply does not command the audiences necessary to make an event like a World Cup be financially viable.

There is FIFA Womens World Cup Soccer, in fact the USA women have won the championship twice, which is more than can be said for our mens team. The next Womens WC will be held in 2007 in China. Do a google and you will find plenty of info on wWomen's WC, and women's soccer in General!

There is a fifa world cup for women, the last one was in 2003, in the US, it was won by Germany who played the final against Sweden, after beating the U.S. (3-0) in the semifinals.
The next one will be in Germany 2007, and it will be win by Mexico

I seem to recall the USA womens team won the last World Cup for Ladies so there must be a FIFA for them.

I went to four games for the last women's world cup. Not quite the same thing as the men's, but there is one that they are trying to develop more interest in. Obviously the women's version doesn't have the same worldwide interest, as you didn't even know there was one. The Germans won the last one, and teh US won the time before that.
