yeah in my opinion because there are several health risks and take advantage of your natural skin color because there are people that would kill to have your skin color!!!

It is not bad to tan but it is important you understand the rays from the sun: UVA and UVB.... UVA is the one that destroys your elasticin and collagen (the same ones that when we grow older they start the diminish the production) and this is what makes the 90% of aging signs and the tanning slons have these rays. Also the UVB is the ray that burns you and contributes to skin cancer. What you need are products that help you get protected form both rays and always try to avoid the SPF over 30 because these will cause your skin to get irritated. I use these great products that help me get a nice tan and they also have a tan enhancer taht makes your tan last longer....you could find them in this site, at the left margin look for BefoRE Sun and you will find them .... https://secure.myarbonne.com/arbonne/arb... the best part is that they have ingredients for anti aging.... wonderful...and the hair protectn is just divine because it also works like a detangler..... and you could also use the "chap stick" they have to protect and hydrate your lips .......

No my fiance is doing it for our wedding day. She said it helps out on pimples also. I my self think all tanning is not to good in the firs place but we all do need to keep good looking health skin. She has been tanning for a month now and people from work have commented her on her tan. She looks great like a different person. The side effect it is having on her is her old pimple marks do show a bit.

Tanning in and of itself is not a bad idea. Everyone should get some sun. Sunlight gives us Vitamin D which is great for our bones. However, when in excess and without suntan lotion to block UVA & UVB rays from the sun it can be a bad thing. Tanning excessively without sunblock protection can cause skin cancer and age spots. A bit of sun is good but remember ANYTHING in excess can turn out to be harmful.

depends on how you tan. tanning beds generally seem to be bad for you. if you use sunscreen and don't stay out for too long, natural tanning is probably ok. and fake tans are ok, though they aren't REAL...

Are you kidding? It's like sitting in a box full of radiation and expecting not to get cancer. It's a hundred times worse than going to the beach or pool.

it's not horribly bad to tan. it depends on your family's past issues with skin cancer... i think you are okay to tan as long as you don't do it like every day year round... and wear some sunscreen and stuff..
