get alot of the normal chores that you save for the weekend done during the week, you would be so suprised how much time we waste durning the week, just watching TV, especially in the summer.

Only spend a given amount of time doing one thing. Then when time is up move on to something new. That way you would have gotten more done over the weekend and maybe that would make you seem like the weekend was longer.

start your weekend on a mondaymorning and end sunday evening, just call in sick at work for the week!
be careful though as if your employer finds out you may get fired.
seriously though there is no way for the weekend to go any slower unless you phisically are able to get up earlier on the saturday morning (about 4am should do) then just go in to a go slow mode (walk and talk at half your normal pace) and stay up for the whole weekend no sleep between saturday and sunday, only sleep from 11pm sunday to 8am monday.
just leave enough time to get to work on the monday.

Try and get all the horrible, niggling little weekend chores done during the week so you have the whole weekend to yourself.
Also, getting up early makes the day longer - and so does going to bed late!! The two don't always go hand in hand though!!!!
Have some ME time too and feel good and relaxed about it and yourself.

Go to work early on Friday and try to leave mid-afternoon. You'll pack more personal things in on a Friday that way... which will make it feel like a 3 day weekend instead of 2. Also, try to unwind by finishing up your activities by mid-afternoon on Sunday (just relax the rest of the day).

I also wish that I had the answer to this, because there are weekends that I want to not ever go away, but they seem like they just fly right by with out knowing it

Tell yourself 'Thursday' is the 'new' Friday!! Its kind of like the beginning of the weekend anyway, but as it is the beginning no heavy drinking just maybe one before bed.
My next suggestion isnt such fun...get up real early so you dont miss any of the day

You may be just trying to cram too much into a weekend. Try not tightly packing your weekend schedule and take some time to breath?

Get up early and get moving -- try to do everything that needs to be done on Saturday, then spend Sunday lazing around, taking it easy. Works for me.
