On Sports Illustrated Magazine (Nov. 28, 2005 issue), Jimmy's mom mentioned: "He loves USC! He's thinking Notre Dame!" So, he said he wanted to win a national championship in college before going to the NFL. We all know that USC has a better football team than Notre Dame in the present of course. Jimmy is going to a private Christian high school. Why would he go to a catholic school? Is it because he fears that Mark Sanchez (USC) will be the starting QB for the next 3 years? Huh! Is it ambition? Is he ready to take a team on his back and win a national champion with Notre Dame? By the way Notre Dame is one of the best college football programs ever. Jimmy plays in division XIII football. I've seen them play, it's no division I style of football. Well, only time will say about the next LeBron James of football: Jimmy Clausen. So, what do you think???

Because Mark Sanchez is a Freshman and Clausen had gone to USC he would have sat the bench for 3 years, instead he can go to the crying irish and and end up like the rest of the clausens terrible quarterbacks that ever amount to anything in a major college conference.

According to Rivals.com Brady Quinn was the 10th ranked QB of the 2003 recruiting class, receiving a 4 out of 5 star rating. With Charlie Weis under the wing Quinn is the unquestioned leader of a top 3 powerhouse football program and the likely number 1 overall draft choice in next years draft. Jimmy Clausen must of been drooling at the thought of possibly four years of development under an offensive genius like Weis.

well as a notre dame fan, i realize that USC is good, but with charlie weis making such a huge impact in his first year (not only with the team overall but especially with brady quinn!), it was good for clausen to pick notre dame. plus lendale white and reggie bush (and matt leinart) left USC.. and those are their three top players. GO IRISH!

Because USC is on the way down, and Notre Dame is on the way up. Notice how Leinhart's stock dropped this past year, while Brady Quinn's is on the rise?

Because he was smart! Anyone who watched that game knows that Leinart was pushed (illegally) across that goal line at the end of the game (and that he fumbled the ball backwards out of bounds on the play previous). Notre Dame got the royal screw job in that game. GO IRISH!
