Generally, Sony has the best reputation. But, you have to know different kinds of brands would have different kinds of prices, quality, features, performances and so on. These days, Sony isn't doing as good as they used to be in sales volumes. In fact, over 40% of their global market shares is generated from video games.
The Korean brands, on the other hand, have caught up with their Japanese competitors, particularly in LCD and Plasma tvs. Lastly, a top electronics manufacturer doesn't mean they produce all the best appliances.
