When you have to forgive .......for you!!! to rid yourself of the bitterness and to set yourself free but this is a very awkward situation. Well I guess you guys just have to talk but you don't have to be "friends". (Sometimes, I wonder about us women. Why would she want to mess with your ex. I guess another Denise Richards and Heather Locklear.)

Forgiveness is usually accepting the things that happened. Violation of children is unforgivable but that does not mean you hate someone. People do things that are wrong and often never realize how bad what they have done is. To get a positive from their wrong doing you need to try and understand what caused it and how to guard against it. Religion requires you forgive those that trespass against you as you want forgiveness but the real world is not as easy. Put negatives in your memory but do not let them make you bitter or hate full. Go forward in life and never let others place scars in your life.

always TRY to forgive. it doesn't mean you have to continue to be betrayed, abused, taken advantage of, or hurt any more. you can still forgive someone but choose not to be in a relationship with that person.

You should always forgive, but don't forget- as to let it happen again.

hmm....you should always forgive....but it doesn't mean that person who hurt you has to be a close part of your life anymore or it doesn't mean you have to trust them anymore...
